GOOD NEWS! We have had several inquiries about accepting HSA & FSA cards for massage services. iMassage accepts HSA & FSA cards through our scheduling software, MassageBook.
From MassageBook:
“MassageBook uses Merchant Classification Code (MCC) 8099 ‘Medical Services and Health Practitioners, Not Elsewhere Classified.’ HSA/FSA cards may have restrictions as to what Merchant Classification Codes are accepted. If a client’s card is not covered under MCC 8099, we recommend that he or she contact his or her card issuer in order to determine the options moving forward, as coverage is dependent upon the specific HSA/FSA plan.”
